What does it take to participate?

To participate, plan an activity to promote an area of your program that needs a boost. The activity can be simple and many low budget ideas work great. Offer recycling pledge cards to event attendees to gain their commitment.

America Recycles - 2008 in the Classroom

AR Team Michigan, along with the Michigan United Conservation Club (MUCC) has developed a special lesson plan for ARD. Suitable for any grade level, this curriculum is part of the Waste Information Series for Education (Project WISE) and meets many of the core curriculum standards developed by the Michigan Department of Education. Order the lesson plan, for your classroom. Please contact the MRC Office to get a copy of the Curriculum Participation Form. Fill it out and return it to the MRC to let us know you"ll be using the lesson plan.
