The Michigan Compost Operator Training (MCOT)
Program is designed to provide compost operators with all the
informational tools and training they need to operate a larger scale operation in Michigan.
This in-depth educational program provides information about composting basics to
the more complex issues of financing, odor control, marketing and adding
new feedstocks. Municipalities and businesses that compost or are thinking about
providing composting services will benefit from the experience and the contacts
theyll make in the process. With new composting rules and regulations,
participants will leave the training fully understanding whats expected of their
program and how to avoid the pitfalls. The program was originally developed through a
state grant a grant by ResourceRecycling Systems, Inc and the Michigan
Recycling Coalition has been providing trainings for more than ten
years.
Well see you there!
