CITY OF OBERLIN, OHIO, RECYCLING COORDINATOR 

The City of Oberlin Public Works Department is accepting applications for a Part-Time Recycling Coordinator. The position is responsible for assisting the Public Works Director in the planning, development and implementation of solid waste, recycling and composting programs and services, monitoring of and reporting on the City's waste reduction efforts, and planning, development and implementation of related educational programming.  Minimum Qualifications:  Two (2) years of college or equivalent.  Two (2) years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the skills and abilities necessary to perform the job.  Knowledge of and interest in recycling.  Ability to work with and coordinate the activities of volunteer and community groups.  Ability to analyze problems and to develop workable solutions.  Ability to develop the goals and objectives of the City into workable plans and to meet deadlines.  Responsive to the public and to internal and external stakeholders.  Good written and verbal communication skills.  Must be able to work with little supervision.  A valid State of Ohio Driver’s License is required.   Rate of Pay:  $12–15/hr. D.O.Q.
